Modelos de mejor ajuste matemático a la fluctuación de las poblaciones de Thrips palmi Karny en el cultivo de la papa.

By means of the forecasting, the pursuit system and evaluation in potato fields of the whole country, it has demonstrated population dynamics of T. palmi. Keeping in mind this problem during the years 2001, 2002 and 2003, in the farm "Maravilla" at Artemisa, in Havana province was carried out an investigation, with the objective of deepen in the knowledge of the T. palmi population pattern in potato crop. Starting to potato sprouting, were carried out several population survey observing with a magnifying glass of 10x a leaf of the half level for plant. The test of better adjustment to mathematical models, demonstrated that the equations grade polinomiales 2, 3 and 4 are those that better they describe the changes or oscillations happened in the populations of adult and grade 2 and 3 for the larvas, according to the age of the plants, from to sprouting until the senescence. The trend to the population increment from the establishment of pest in crop until the population pick was very represented for exponential equations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
