Abstract: The article focuses on the operation support services (OSS) implemented by top telecommunications companies in the U.S. Level 3 Communications Inc. chief information officer (CIO) Kevin Hart revealed that the company recently completed the production turn-up of its Project Unity OSS platform, which can support around half of its order volume and two thirds of revenue. Sprint Nextel Corp. and Xohm were among the others implementing OSS.
