Abstract
- This is a status report of a research work in which we intend to characterize the educational policies for the breeding of high school teachers - during the XX century - through a case study of High Institute «Joaquin V. Gonzalez». We investigate the role assigned by the State to the Institute in different political and institutional stages. Periods are outlined considering the relationship between the Minister and the Institute and the fluctuations of democracy within the institution and in the society.
