Abstract: The article profiles Dr. Esther Wilkins, a dentist, dental hygienist and periodontist. It mentions that Wilkins has pursued her science degree at Simmons College for women in Boston, Massachusetts. After completing her science degree, she enrolled in dental hygiene at Forsyth School and earned her certificate in 1939. In 1950, she started the University of Washington Dental Hygiene School Program, where she developed the curriculum and taught majority of the courses at first.
