Abstract: The article reports on the awards given during the 2007 PLACE conference of the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry held in St. Louis, Missouri from September 16-19, 2007. The division technical and Rohm & Haas awards were given to Lee Murray of Pechiney Plastics. DuPont's Barry Morris won the overall best paper award and the Dragan Djordevic award for best paper related to cast film and extrusion coating.
