Malaspina students show support for KI 6.

Abstract: The article reports on the support of the students at the Malaspina University-College students to Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug (KI) 6 in a land dispute with mining company Platinex Inc. in Ontario. The dispute has led six leaders of the community to be in jail for defending their lands against mining exploration company. Students showed their support by gathering at a cedar welcome figure on campus to protest, pray and fast.
