Abstract

The article focuses on the life and works of Angelique Merasty Levac, a birch bark biting artist from Prince George, British Columbia. Levac was born in Midnight Lake, Manitoba, She learned birch bark biting from the Cree culture through her teacher Angelique Merasty. Levac credits God for her success and for giving her the artistic gift.
