Abstract: The article focuses on the record-breaking catfishes caught by catfishermen Phil King and Cary Winchester at the Big Cat Quest Championship of Bass Pro Shops held in Memphis, Tennessee in November 2008. On the first day, King captured a 103-pound blue cat, which was said to be the largest catfish caught in a tournament. Winchester topped the record of King with his 108-pound catfish on the second day. The team of King won the championship with a total of 291 pounds of fishes caught.
