Abstract
- The article reports on the results of a research on the dangers of choking game, by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The choking game involves intentionally trying to choke oneself or another in an effort to obtain a brief euphoric state caused by cerebral hypoxia. It is important to raise awareness among parents, educators, health care providers and children regarding the dangers of the game.
