House Will Pursue Possible FISA Deal, Economic Measures.

The article reports that U.S. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said that the administration is signaling the willingness to discuss a possible compromise on legislation overhauling the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Hoyer added that he had several discussions with Senate Intelligence Chairman John (Jay) Rockefeller and House Minority Whip Roy Blunt about moving forward on the bill. Nevertheless it is unclear how lawmakers will address the major discrepancies in the bill.
