The farm supports 250 dairy cows, 100 followers and 200 beef cattle. The first of the prime beef cattle have been sold for the year. It is a welcome change for the prices to rise when they venture into the market, with the best cattle making almost ?1000 a head. Potato planting is well advanced for the time of year. An excellent dry weather has meant they are well on top of the job.
