Abstract: The article presents a guide to choosing what variety of clematis to grow. Unlike large-flowered types, small-flowered varieties are not bothered by clematis wilt, a fungal disease. Anemona clematis is an easy-tor-grow and very fragrant variety that needs some winter chill, so they will not bloom in very warm climates. The texensis species is native to Texas and has small, delicate scarlet flowers.
