Abstract
- A novel sulphur-containing compound named xanthiazinone (1) was isolated from the ethanolic extract of the fruits of Xanthium sibiricum, along with four known compounds, xanthiazone (2), xanthiside (3), xanthienopyran (4) and 5-hydroxypyrrolidin-2-one (5).
