Abstract
- This article focuses on current Russian president, Vladmir Putin, and the man that will succeed him, Dmitry Medvedev. The article marks the similarities and differences between Putin and Medvedev, both personal and political, and shows how they may translate to Medvedev's presidency. Medvedev plans to keep Putin close by making him prime minister.
