Abstract: The article presents the steps to creating expert figure drawings. First, measure the basic proportions. To find the middle of the body, align the tip of the pencil with the top of the head, and then position the thumb in line with the body part that appears to be in the middle. Use the size of the head to measure the width of the shoulders. If the vertical and horizontal measurements are accurate, one will automatically indicate the distribution of weight and movement of the body in space.
