Abstract
- The article reports that the U.S. Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight, the agency which regulates the government-sponsored enterprises Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, will remove limits on the amount of loans and securities which can be owned by the two firms. The decision is intended to provide further support for the declining housing market.
