Abstract

The article presents information on how a baby learns to walk. It states that a baby's first steps may be part of a larger effort he/she has been working toward. Babies make attempts to walk even before they are physically fit for that action. They may fall while attempting to walk and may become fussier as they focus all the intensity on getting set for the first steps. It states that parents need to give the necessary assistance to infants to help them start walking.
