Structure and Activity of Largazole, a Potent Antiproliferative Agent from the Floridian Marine Cyanobacterium Symploca sp.

The article reports on the structure determination and preliminary biological characterization of a marine cyanobacteria from Florida called Symploca. Symploca species have been barely investigated compared to other cyanobacteria species. A table of the NMR spectral data for Largazole is also presented.
