Abstract
- The article provides information on the role of Dennis R. Schrader, new deputy administrator of Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) National Preparedness Directorate, in leading the disaster preparedness efforts in the U.S. Schrader entered into the Department of Homeland Security's much-maligned agency following his August 2007 Senate confirmation.
