Assessment of Sacral Doming in Lumbosacral Spondylolisthesis.

The article presents a study that confirms the relevance of the Spinal Deformity Study Group (SDSG) index to assess sacral doming in lumbosacral spondylilisthesis. It notes that the study allows quantitative evaluation of sacral doming and is in agreement with the clinical perspectives of spinal surgeons. A criterion is proposed to differentiate significant from nonsignificant sacral doming using the SDSG index. This will allow more accurate assessment of sacral remodelling.
