Abstract: This article focuses on the co-production of the short film "Sweet and Sour," by the Shanghai Animation Film Studio and the People's Republic of Animation (PRA) formed by Australian writer-director Eddie White. PRA is composed of young filmmakers based in Adelaide. The film is about a dog discovering the China's culture through exploration of Chinatown in an imaginary Western city.
