Abstract
- A literary criticism of several literary works by Nicholasa Mohr is presented, including the books “Nilda,” “Going Home,” and “Growing Up Inside the Sanctuary of My Imagination.” The classification of Mohr's novels as children's literature is considered, as is Mohr's representation of the Puerto Rican diaspora in her writing. Issues of gender and agency in Mohr's work are also explored.
