Abstract
- The article discusses the importance in using qualitative methods for understanding the various cultures inside the campus. Also included are the strengths and weaknesses of the various assessments techniques and factors to consider in the assessment of institutional cultures of diverse college and universities. It is suggested that the collective pattern of values and assumptions that constitute the culture of campuses comprise one of the most powerful forces shaping the behavior and experiences within postsecondary institutions.
