Abstract
- The article discusses graphic designers that work within businesses. While some in-house designers feel unappreciated because they believe that the fun work is often assigned externally, the author states that this is not true of all organizations. Companies like Nike, Capital One, Target, and Herman Miller all have innovative campaigns that they work on within the company. This is most likely because designers stepped up and told management that those working from within have better knowledge of the culture and the brand and can work more efficiently.
