Ethinylestradiol/cyproterone/spironolactone.

The article describes the case of a 24-year-old woman who developed central retinal venous occlusion (CRVO) and associated cystoid macular edema (CME) during treatment with spironolactone, cyproterone and ethinylestradiol/cyproterone for hirsutism. The patient presented with a four-month history of vision loss after seven months of treatment. Laboratory investigations were performed, which revealed mild microcytic hypochromic anemia.
