TALLERES PARA CELEBRAR LA SEMANA DE LA CIENCIA.

An experience to get students involved in the teaching-learning process is presented. It has been developed at the "I.E.S. Isabel la Católica " secondary school (Guadahortuna-Granada) during the celebration of the national event "VI semana de la ciencia" (6th science week). Our main objective is to attract our students to the scientific thinking method. We want them to look for explanations of any aspect of life that surrounds us. Our purpose is to show them that science is closer than they can imagine. In that sense, as way to improve their scientific knowledge, we have organized three inter-related workshops devoted to the human body: its anatomy, its physiology, and side effects produced in the human body by the ingestion of certain substances.
