Abstract: The article offers information on the judgment of a court case involving the American syndicate BMW Oracle Racing and the yacht racing team Alinghi. Alinghi's yacht club sued Golden Gate Yacht Club, the home of the BMW, in New York State Supreme Court regarding dispute over the rules for the next America's Cup race. On November 27, 2007 the American syndicate won the case thereby, getting the right to race Alinghi for the race in 2008.
