Abstract
- The article characterizes the genus Alchornea in the Malay Archipelago and Thailand. According to the authors, the genus is comprised of only five species and not 11 as recognized by current literature. The authors reveal that they can be divided into two groups, with one group called Cladodes and the other Stipellaria. The characteristics of each group are discussed.
