Abstract
- The article reports on the partnership formed by Sharp Corp. and Toshiba Corp. to collaborate on the development and production of liquid crystal displays (LCD). Through the agreement, Sharp aims to satisfy about 50% of its total demand for system LSI for TV in fiscal year 2010, while Toshiba targets meeting 40% of its demand for LCD modules in the same year.
