Abstract
- The article focuses on the establishment of the Canadian Synchrotron Radiation Facility (CSRF) in 1982 at the low-energy 240 MegaVolt Tantalus synchroton at the University of Wisconsin, outside Madison, Wisconsin. In January 1986, it was transferred to a second-generation 1 GeV Alladin synchroton. In 2004, new CSRF beam line was transferred to the Canadian Light Source (CLS) in Saskatoon. Various Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science theses from various Canadian universities were produced by the facility, and publications covered works at the CSRF.
