- A variety of alcohols have been oxidized under mild conditions by a dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO)-chlorophosphazene complex. Sensitive groups such as silyl and tetrahydropyranyl (THP) ethers are stable under this condition. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
