Abstract
- In this article the author discusses British press reaction to comments on immigration and immigrants made in 2007 by the British singer Morrissey. The author notes that while the singer sought to distance himself from his possibly racist statements through threats of legal action, portions of the mainstream press embraced them. The author examines the expressions of support voiced by British journalist Trevor Kavanagh
