The Recommendations of the International Conference on Population and Development: The Possibility of the Empowerment of Women in Egypt.

The article focuses on the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) which was sponsored by the United Nations from September 5-15, 1994 in Cairo, Egypt. The conference designed a plan to control population in the world over the next twenty years. The participants of the conference agreed that women play the most important role in the population development program. The nations decided that women should gain complete control over their reproduction to control the population.
