Abstract: The article discusses biomarkers of mucinous tumors of the ovary. Gene expression profiling and proteomic analysis are important tools for the molecular characterization of mucinous tumors of the ovary. Some of biomarkers of mucinous tumors of the ovary are Trefoil Factory Family 1, Anterior Gradient 2 homolog, Galectin 4, Mucin 13, Cytokeratin 7 and Cytokeratin 20.
