Abstract: The article reports on two cases of autoimmune sclerosing cholangitis (ASC) occurring in sisters. The first patient was a 12-year-old girl who was admitted to the hospital because of symptoms and signs of abdominal pain and fatigue. Another patient was a 17-year-old sister who was asymptomatic. These cases suggest a genetic predisposition to autoimmune sclerosing cholangitis.
