Abstract
- The article presents information about the casualties of heavy fighting of the U.S. forces in three locations in Sadr City, Iraq. According to a U.S. military official and a military statement about the episode, the U.S. forces came under heavy fire and returned fire, killing 49 militants. Iraqi witnesses stated that 17 people had been killed and 40 were wounded.
