Abstract

The article reports that several human rights organizations have filed complaints against former U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld accusing him of responsibility for torture at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba and the Abu Gharib prison in Iraq. It states that the organizations, the International Federation for Human Rights, the French League for Human Rights and the Center for Constitutional Rights in New York, filed the case with state prosecutor Jean-Claude Marin in a Paris, France court.
