Abstract
- The article focuses on the debut of the MTV Arabia television channel which was seen in the Middle East in November of 2007. A discussion of the channel's offerings, and of the difficulties which channels featuring Western content face when attempting to broadcast to a Muslim audience, is presented. The channel's operating management, which involves MTV and Dubai based Tecom Investments, is discussed.
