Abstract

The article presents two news briefs pertaining to academic libraries and copyright law. The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a United Nations agency, has adopted a development agenda. The American Library Association's (ALA) Office for Information Technology Policy and the Library Copyright Alliance have chosen copyright advocates in the formation of a joint copyright committee.
