Abstract

The article reports on the killing of several people attached with the U.S. armed forces in Iraq on October 4, 2007. The victims included a police chief and a tribal leader. Police Brigadier Ihsan Abdul-Kareem al-Taie was killed in Babil Province. The convoy of tribal leader Moawiya Jebara was blown up by a roadside bomb in Salahuddin Province, killing him and five of his bodyguards.
