Abstract
- The article discusses a random walker ranking for National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) I-A college football teams. It focuses on the potential of an algorithm derived by imitating the behavior of voters in offering reasonable rankings. The authors emphasize that the algorithm provided can generate reasonable results in terms of single-voter behavior covering individual walkers who have diverse opinion regarding the best team in the network of teams linked by their head-to-head games. Apart from this, they also highlight that random walker rankings offer various ways of ranking teams with optimum methods and outcome.
