Abstract

The article discusses the findings of the study of astronomer Philippe Zarka and colleagues concerning the rotation rate of Saturn. It reveals that the rate varies by 1 percent to the estimated rate of 10 hours, 39 minutes and 24 seconds after few months. It is believed that the difference is caused by the planet's magnetic field or radiowave source in the field. They theorized that the solar wind affects Saturn' radio clock in the solar system due to the prominent oscillation that occur over the Sun's 25-day rotation period.
