Abstract
- Examines the effect of beta-blockade on left ventricular (LV) remodeling when added to angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibition after anterior myocardial infarction (MI). Characterization of LV remodeling after large MI; Lowering of heart rate; Improvement of ejection fraction; Effect of beta-blockade on blood pressure, LV mass and cavity size.
