Out of Africa with the will to succeed.

The article presents information on British teachers who teach and work with disadvantaged children in Africa. Research indicates that teachers who participate in overseas programs return to Great Britain invigorated and ready to cope with higher grade jobs. The Department for Children, Schools and Families is helping to fund a pilot program in partnership with the Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) and the National Association of Head Teachers to promote the practice.
