Abstract
- The changes in the global economy and international relations in the 1980`s modified the external and domestic economic policies in Mexico. Two main processes have been specially relevant: the consolidation of the European integration and its interest in signing cooperation agreements with other countries ?or geographic zones; and the signature of the North America Free Trade Agreement, with its neighbors Canada and the United States, signed in 1994. This paper analyse from the Mexican view and on a comparative aproach, the impact of increasing trade on the economic growth and development. ..PAT.-Conference Proceeding [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
