Abstract
- A conference paper discussed during the 2005 "Writing Europe" conference is presented. It argues that the imagination of contemporary writers, who are mostly members of the younger generation, are torn between the little homeland and globalization. It is observed that the literary space occupied by young authors are filled with useless, abandoned or unfamiliar objects that point to other cultures, other people and the history of other people.
