Abstract
- The article reports on the statement of the Chinese amusement park sector. When the World Carnival was rolled out in Beijing in 2004, it generated a storm of excitement in the capital, but suffered heavy losses in 2006 due to high prices. On the other hand, its rival Happy Valley enjoyed a profitable start. Investors who are planning to build amusement parts in the country are warned that only ten percent of amusement parks are turning profits.
