Abstract

The article discusses some of the misconceptions people have about the importance of eating breakfast and the effect that glucose has on the brain. The author explains that although glucose is important for brain function, the process is complex and requires the completion of certain steps before the brain can fully benefit from the glucose derived from carbohydrates.
