Abstract

The article discusses the software schism among the channel and software vendors in the U.S. According to the author, one of the reason of this division is the strategic role that application development plays in the profit ability of the most successful information technology (IT) services companies. He suggested that if vendors really wanted to help solve the problem, all they have to do is to create channel programs centered on taking out the mystery of the application development process, they also have to connect the subset for their software developers who introduced them to the rest of their partner community.
