Abstract

The article talks about the use of dramatic plays as part of classroom programs in helping students learn American history. Several teachers typically use thematic essays, document-based questions, and tests in measuring their students learning. However, the author suggests a classroom project model as an alternative way to pave way to a conducive learning and at the same time, be able to hone creative thinking skills as well. In here, students' critical thinking skills would be elevated since they will be challenged to ask compelling questions for the plays they created.
